Busy Bees

Anthony Mason and Glen Rice finished first and second, respectively, in the NBA in minutes per game last year. They also became the third pair of teammates—and the first in 29 years—to average more than 42 minutes in the same season (minimum 50 games; the NBA began tabulating minutes played in 1951-52). The Hornets had the best record of any of the six teams that featured such a workaholic duo.
