An 0-3 September dropped Notre Dame from national title contention faster than you can say, "Kimberly Dunbar." Since then the mood has turned from blue to gold as the Irish have won three straight. A correspondent, who goes by the netonym Yeats and appears to have a sibling who's a student manager, recently provided embarrassing—if decidedly secondhand—information on Davie's closed locker room reaction to the Irish's frustrating 28-23 loss to Purdue in the season's third week.
