Highlights

SATURDAY 11/13

?Sports & Music Festival
MTV 1 PM
Danny Way , who leaps 35 feet from a helicopter to skateboard on a half-pipe? He's stoked! Tony Hawk , who attempts a 900 in his final professional skateboarding competition? He's stoked! Mike Cinqmars, who tries a world-record dunes jump in Death Valley on his moto-X bike? He's hyped and stoked! Dude, I'm sitting here in my boxers, watching it all and shoveling trail mix down my gob like there's no tomorrow, and I'm stoked! No coaches, no uniforms, no rules.

? Miami at Virginia Tech
ESPN 7:30 PM
In 1953 tackle Buzz Nutter became the first Hokie drafted by the NFL , and in the 46 years since, the rallying cry, "Win one for the Nutter" has never been heard in Blacksburg , Va. So what? So we just like saying, "Buzz Nutter." Virginia Tech (8-0), which moved to No. 2 in the polls after Penn State 's loss last week, is led by quarterback Michael Vick , the freshman who's arguably had the biggest impact in college football this season.

? Evander Holyfield vs. Lennox Lewis
TVKO 9 PM
Their March 13 bout ended in a controversial dreadlock, so the natty Lewis (34-1-1) and Holyfield (36-3-1) have agreed to renew gentlemanly acquaintance at the Thomas & Mack Center , in Las Vegas . If you want to see a bona fide heavyweight clash, check out the NASA satellite footage of those two spiral galaxies that passed within shouting distance of each other near the constellation Canis Major on www.nasa.gov.

SUNDAY 11/14
?Ironman Triathlon
NBC 4 PM
Then there are those who don't go to Hawaii to relax. You know the drill: 2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike and 26.2-mile run (your mileage may vary) for the athlete who wants to put in an eight-hour day and then some.

THURSDAY 11/18
?Coyotes at Kings
ESPN2 10:30 PM
Bizarre but true: Bruce Springsteen opened a concert for Anne Murray in the early 1970s. Last month the Boss opened for Andy Murray , christening the Staples Center three days before the Kings and Murray , their new coach, took part in the arena's inaugural sporting event. Through Sunday, Murray , who coached at Shattuck-St. Mary's Prep School in Fairboult, Minn. , last year, had the Kings (9-4-3) second in the Western Conference with an assist from forwards Ziggy Palffy and Luc Robitaille .

Don't Miss

FRIDAY 11/19

?Trail Blazers at 76ers
TNT 8 PM
Scottie Pippen (33) is making a fashion statement. After styling in a red, black and white ensemble with the Bulls for 11 seasons, he looked navy blue during last season's bumpy Rockets ride. Now he has returned to his best colors with Portland . Pippen knows the look is incomplete without a championship ring, but the Blazers, who have also added Detlef Schrempf and Steve Smith , are ready to accessorize. Philadelphia boasts the league's phattest babydaddy backcourt in Larry Hughes and last year's leading scorer, Allen Iverson , playing in an arena that Philadelphians fittingly call the F.U. (for First Union) Center. Boyz N the Hood host Boys from Mount Hood .
