Tigers catcher Brad Ausmus (left), long known for his defense, is on an uncommon offensive streak. In each of his seven big league seasons Ausmus has set a career high in runs batted in. Through Sunday, Ausmus needed to knock in 44 more runs this season to extend his streak to eight years.
