* Alcorn State will beat Siena in NCAA play-in game

To predict which teams will advance to this year's Final Four in Atlanta, we analyzed the most basic attributes of all 65 entrants. Which teams have the brawny rebounders [Superior rebounding] to dominate the glass, and which have the closer-than-a-shadow defensive demons [Strong defensively] to shut down the hottest shooters? Which have the shaky ball handlers [Shaky ball handling] who'll feel the pressure or lack the tournament experience [Little NCAA experience] so crucial in the NCAAs? After weighing all this stuff, SI's council of wise guys selected its Final Four: Maryland from the East, Kansas from the Midwest, USC from the South and Oklahoma from the West. In the championship game well take Kansas over Big 12 rival Oklahoma in a rematch of the 1988 final, which was also won by the Jayhawks.
