James, a senior at Boulder City High, won the Nevada 3A state wrestling tide in the heavyweight division and finished the season 40-0. As a tackle in football, he was named South Nevada's 3A Lineman of the Year.

Annie, a senior center at Laguna Beach High, was the top scorer in Orange County, with 166 goals, breaking the school record by 59 goals. She led the Breakers to the semifinals of the Division II California Interscholastic Federation championships.

Basketball
Sungy, a senior forward at Jacksonville University, is the Dolphins' alltime leading scorer and rebounder, with 1,115 career points and 943 rebounds. She averages 13 points per game and is second in the Atlantic Sun Conference with 10.3 rebounds per game.

Waterskiing
Ritchhart, 41, a softball coach and physical education teacher at Pine Castle Christian Academy, broke a 13-year-old slalom record in the Open Men's Division at the Polar Bear Classic. He also won the Kneeboard National Championships, his 12th national tide.

Mitchell, 10, broke the national age-group record for boys 10 and under in the 50-yard backstroke at the Schroeder Invitational, in Brown Deer, Wis. He also set state age-group records in the 50-yard, 100-yard, 50-meter and 100-meter backstroke.

Track and Field
Harrison, a junior at Stuyvesant High, won gold medals in the triple and high jumps at the Manhattan Borough Championships. He was named the Metropolitan Athletic Congress champion for his age group.
