Taking Stock
The photomontage that starts here and continues over the next four pages of Jazz point guard John Stockton, who retired last week after 19 NBA seasons (page 22), was created by Salt Lake Tribune photographer Trent Nelson, who culled the 1,500 pictures he took of Stockton on Jan. 18, when the Jazz hosted Cleveland. There are 79 images of Stockton in the montage (and two of Cavs guard Ricky Davis), each one corresponding precisely to Stockton's position on the court when the photograph was taken.
