The Huskies have won 13 of their last 16 and have a new stadium and a strong recruiting base. Sounds like the same formula used to make the men's and women's basketball programs perennial title contenders.... Line of the week: Georgia Tech senior wideout Jonathan Smith caught a 30-yard touchdown pass, threw a 26-yard TD pass and scored on a 73-yard punt return in Tech's 41-24 win over North Carolina.... Last week we mistakenly reported that Kerri Brooks, daughter of Kentucky coach Rich Brooks, wrote on an Internet message board that her father was unhappy in Lexington. She actually wrote that her father loves Kentucky and is committed to turning around the program.
