Willis McGahee
After missing the 2003 season with a serious knee injury suffered in his last college game, the 6-foot, 228-pound former Miami star had seven 100-yard games and 13 touchdowns in 11 starts for the Bills last year. Showing increased speed and making cuts with greater confidence during off-season workouts, McGahee should rank among the top 10 players on any fantasy draft board. He's one of the league's few true breakaway backs, capable of ripping off 50-plus-yard touchdown runs. A cautionary note, however, about his supporting cast: Buffalo will be going with a first-year starter at quarterback, J.P. Losman, and a new left side of the line, with free-agent pickups Mike Gandy at guard and Bennie Anderson at tackle. Though more defenders may crowd the line of scrimmage in an attempt to stop him, McGahee has the vision and speed to find the smallest sliver of daylight. After that, it's off to the races.
