What was your welcome-to-the-big-leagues moment? My first chance, in 2002, I pinch-ran in Boston and went from first to third on a ball that most people wouldn't. The third base coach was surprised. I ended up scoring the winning run. That one play ended up making my career. Your most embarrassing moment? We were in Anaheim , and a fly ball was hit. I jogged in, and for some reason I kept running. It was twilight, and the ball landed five feet behind me. The batter ended up on second. The guys gave me a bit of a hard time about it--asking me where I was going, what I was looking for. Favorite off-day activity? Having a real good meal. I cook fried chicken. I learned from my mom. If I weren't playing baseball, I'd ... be a bass fisherman. I'm from Florida , and I love to fish. In the [baseball] off-season the fish aren't spawning--so it's harder. If I were out there all summer, I'd be really good. LAST WEEK The Angels ' leader with 48 steals, Figgins knocked in a run in a 4--3 win over Toronto on Sunday.
