THURSDAY
10/26
Chrysler
Championship
Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson might be sitting this one out, but the field at
Innisbrook in Palm Harbor, Fla., will still be stellar: 79 of the top 100 money
winners. Defending champion Carl Pettersson (left) will try to become the first
back-to-back champion in the tournament's history. Thursday and Friday, USA 4
p.m.; Saturday USA 3 p.m.; Sunday ABC 2 p.m.
SI PICK OF THE
WEEK
FRIDAY 10/27
Grudge Match
Revenge is a dish best served cold, so what better place to dole out a little
than on the ice? That's what Boston College is thinking. The Eagles (2--1) will
attempt to avenge their 2--1 loss to Wisconsin in last year's national
championship game in Milwaukee. They have a good shot. The Badgers (3-1-2) lost
their top five scorers from a year ago, which will put pressure on sophomore
right wing Jack Skille (right), a first-round pick of Chicago in 2005. BC has a
first-rounder of its own: Forward Brian Boyle (left), a Kings pick in 2003,
leads the Eagles with three goals. CSTV 8 p.m.
SATURDAY
10/28
No. 19 Oklahoma
at No. 23 Missouri
So far, so good. The Sooners survived their first game without running back
Adrian Peterson (out with a broken collarbone) thanks to Allen Patrick (right),
who ran for 110 yards in a 24--3 win over Colorado. Their next test will be
sterner. Missouri bounced back from its first loss of the season by spanking
Kansas State last Saturday, with four touchdown passes from Chase Daniel. ABC

SUNDAY 10/29
Ravens at
Saints
Baltimore's defense, behind Ray Lewis, is rolling—it's allowing just 11.5
points per game. The offense, behind Steve McNair, isn't. McNair has thrown
seven picks and is tied for 30th in the league in quarterback rating. A
possible solution: last year's starter, Kyle Boller, who came in after McNair
got a concussion two weeks ago and led the Ravens to three touchdowns. CBS 1

TUESDAY 10/31
On Shelves: My
World
Hold those Grammy votes. Following in the footsteps of AI, Shaq, Jerry West and
Kobe, Ron Artest does the baller-turned-rapper thing. (O.K., maybe not West.)
Artest's debut album features mainstream rappers Mike Jones and Big Kap, which
he hopes will make it more successful than the first release on his Tru Warier
label: Artest's girl group, Allure, moved just 1,200 copies of its debut in the
first two weeks of release.
