THURSDAY 3/1
Honda
Classic The first cut on John Daly 's 2002 CD, My Life, was called I'm Drunk, Damn Broke. Perhaps he should update it to I'm Drunk, Damn Broke, and I Lost My Tour Card. The big fella (below) finished 193rd on the money list last year and no longer has an exemption, so he'll have to rely primarily on sponsors' invitations this year. He got one to the Honda , at which he'll join a field that includes defending champ Luke Donald . Thursday and Friday, Golf Channel 3 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, NBC 3 p.m.

SATURDAY 3/3
Rafael Marquez vs. Israel Vazquez
You can't say these guys aren't dedicated. Last week Marquez (36--3), a longtime bantamweight champ who is moving up to 122 pounds for the first time, said he was willing "to give my life" for the WBC super bantamweight belt. Vazquez (41--3), who has held the title since 2005, responded by saying he was prepared to "die in the ring" to retain it. Showtime 9 p.m.

SUNDAY 3/4
Lakers at Suns
Phoenix point guard Steve Nash is the front-runner in the MVP race, but he won't be the only worthy candidate on the floor. Coming off an injury-plagued season in which he appeared in just three games, Amar Stoudemire (left) is averaging 20.2 points and a career-high 9.5 rebounds for the Suns. ABC 3:30 p.m.

MONDAY 3/5
Real Sports
In 1997 the Sabres let Ted Nolan , the reigning NHL Coach of the Year, go after he clashed with G.M. John Muckler and superstar goalie Dominik Hasek . Though he was just 39 when he left, Nolan (right), who was saddled with a reputation as a G.M. killer, didn't coach again in the league until this season, when the Islanders hired him. SI's Frank Deford sits down with Nolan to discuss his exile. HBO 10 p.m.

WEDNESDAY 3/7
Big East Tournament
Syracuse doesn't just want to three-peat—the Orangemen need to three-peat. With an RPI in the mid-60s, the two-time defending conference champs are a bubble team. To emerge victorious at Madison Square Garden and lock up an NCAA berth, they'll need a big tournament from senior forward Demetris Nichols , the Big East's leading scorer (18.9 points per game). SI PICK OF THE WEEK

SUNDAY 3/4
See Bob Weave
There's not much running in the wide-open Arena Football League , but that hasn't discouraged Bob McMillen (above) of the Chicago Rush from making a living out of ball carrying. The bruising (6'2", 255 pounds) back is the AFL 's career rushing leader, with 1,417 yards in 12 seasons. He's also led three different teams to Arena Bowl titles, including the Rush, who won the big game last year despite a 7--9 regular season record. McMillen and his teammates will open the 2007 season (it's the AFL 's 20th anniversary) by traveling to Kansas City to play the Brigade, who went 3--13 last season as an expansion team. ABC 12:30 p.m.
