What was your
welcome-to-pro-boxing moment?
I really didn't have one. I remember boxing before I remember my parents—that's
how long I've been in the game.
What was your
most embarrassing moment?
I ate some bad food or something when I was fighting this Spanish kid [in
1997], and when the bell rang at the end of one of the rounds, I went and threw
up in the corner.
What's one thing
about boxers that people don't think about?
Not everybody is dedicated. If you're going to be in this sport, you need to
commit everything you have to it, and not everyone out there does that.
Your most
treasured possessions?
My cars. I have a 10-car garage. I roll to McDonald's in my Rolls-Royce all the
time. I pull up, and the guy at the drive-through says, "Man, what are you
doing here?" I say, "I gotta eat like everyone else!"
