At the Reebok camp last summer in Treviso, Italy , Serb forward Nemanja Aleksandrov wowed a gymful of NBA scouts. A smooth, versatile scorer with excellent instincts, the 6'11", 230-pound Aleksandrov is a certain top five pick despite averaging only 5.9 points and 3.0 rebounds at week's end for Reflex Belgrade in the Adriatic League of Serbia and Montenegro. "He doesn't have to be Number 1," says his agent, SFX's David Bauman , who compares Aleksandrov to a young Pau Gasol . "It's much more important that he go to a team that's committed to developing him." Bauman won't name names, but he has warned G.M.'s that he'll withdraw the 17-year-old Aleksandrov a week before the draft if he senses that the "wrong kind of team" is about to take him.
