What was your welcome-to-the-big-leagues-moment?
I pinch-ran [for Texas ] in Oakland and the [P.A. guy] announced it was my major league debut. The fans booed. Bobby Jones was our first base coach. He said, "What the [expletive] did you do to these people?"

Your most embarrassing moment?
As a rookie I had to get dressed in this really tight dress when we were going to Seattle . The guys on the team had [TV cameras] waiting for me when I got off the plane.

Your favorite off-day activity?
Hanging out with my wife, Cristina, and my [baby] son, Mateo. Just hang out. Anytime I can relax with them is a good day.

get rid of the fact that the All-Star Game decides home field advantage in the World Series. That's a pretty silly rule.
