THURSDAY 7/27 Senior British Open Tom Watson (above) has five claret jugs in his trophy case, and now he's putting together a pretty nice collection of Senior British Open trophies. The 56-year-old has won two and goes to Royal Turnberry as the defending champ. He'll face some competition from a seasoned veteran making his Senior British Open debut: Hale Irwin , who has won 44 Champions tour titles and tops the tour career money list with $23 million in earnings.
