Mike Tyson vs. Corey Sanders Not what you want to hear if you're a promoter: In one corner, a 31-year-old journeyman who has lost his last four fights. In the other, an aging headliner who claims, "I hate fighting." Tyson (above), 40, kicks off his "World Tour" in Youngstown, Ohio, where he'll have a four-round exhibition with Sanders (23-10), a former sparring partner.

World Series: Game 1 Michael Young might find a few thank-you cards in his mailbox this week. The Rangers' shortstop's two-run ninth-inning triple in the All-Star Game propelled the AL to victory--and gave Detroit home field advantage in the World Series. The Tigers (page 40) have six days to rest their pitchers, which they hope won't cool them down. Kenny Rogers (below) hasn't allowed a run in 15 innings in the postseason. Fox 7:30 p.m.

SUNDAY 10/22

Redskins at Colts Washington's pass defense is 28th in the NFL--thanks largely to Eli Manning, who dissected the Skins two weeks ago, completing 70% of his passes and throwing for 256 yards. Now Washington will get the other Manning. Peyton is third in the NFL in passing yards and has the Colts 5--0 for the third time in the last four years. Fox 4 p.m.

Chicago Marathon Last week defending champion Felix Limo, who won the London Marathon last April, was forced to pull out of the race due to back pain. That's good news for Kenyan rivals Robert K. Cheruiyot and Benjamin Maiyo. Cheruiyot set a course record at the Boston Marathon this year, while Maiyo was the runner-up to his countryman Limo last year in the Windy City. WEDNESDAY 10/25

Rockets at Heat It's been a busy summer for Shaquille O'Neal. In June he helped deliver Miami's first NBA championship. In August he was in China (below) signing an endorsement deal with sportswear designer Li Ning. Then he returned to South Florida to open his second Shaq Sport gym. O'Neal's final exhibition game will be against a Houston team that's been missing Yao Ming, who is nursing an injured toe.

UPSTART SHOWDOWN

The last time Rutgers and Pitt met in a meaningful game was, well, never. But the Panthers and the Scarlet Knights are both already bowl eligible, and they'll use this game at Heinz Field to jockey for position in the Big East. Rutgers is 6--0 for the first time since 1976, and 6--1 Pitt is off to its best start since Dan Marino was under center. Tyler Palko (left) is no Marino, but he's doing a good impression; the senior leads the nation in passing efficiency. Rutgers does most of its damage on the ground: Sophomore Ray Rice (right) is on pace for an 1,800-yard season.
