Thompson, a senior forward at Southern Indiana, led the Screaming Eagles to the Disney Division II Tip-Off Classic championship, opening with a career-high 35-point game and averaging 22.7 points and 12.3 rebounds. He shot 75% from the field and was named the tournament's most outstanding player.

DaLuze, a senior midfielder at UMass Lowell, scored the game-winning goal in double overtime to give the River Hawks a 2-1 victory over Bloomsburg and their first NCAA Division II field hockey national championship. She was named Northeast-10 Conference co--player of the year.

Duesing, a senior wide receiver at Washington University in St. Louis, ended the season with 1,136 receiving yards, becoming the second player in NCAA history to have four consecutive 1,000-yard-receiving seasons. He was named the University Athletic Association offensive player of the year for the second straight season.
