Browns running back Jamal Lewis tried to break free from linebacker Angelo Crowell (55) and the rest of the slipping and sliding Bills defense on Sunday in Cleveland . Lewis found his footing on a day when few could, rushing for 163 yards on 33 carries in an 8--0 win that put the Browns (9--5) in the thick of the AFC North title race.

Calftime Show
Trevor Brazile of Decatur , Texas , had matters well in hand (and teeth) last Friday during the tie-down roping competition at the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas . Brazile won the event as well as the steer-roping and overall titles, becoming the first Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association triple crown champ since Roy Cooper in 1983.

To the delight of the Dolphins ' success-starved fans, wide receiver Greg Camarillo scored on a 64-yard reception in overtime on Sunday to defeat the Ravens 22--16 and snap a 16-game losing streak. The victory ensured that Miami would not become the first 0--16 team in NFL history.
