EAST RECAP

After trouncing George Washington in the NCAA opener, Vanderbilt survived 10 overtime minutes against Washington State to gain its first second-round victory since 2004. But Tyler Crawford (left, with Ted Skuchas) and the Hoyas made sure that was the end of the road for the Commodores.
