DANNY WUERFFEL , FLORIDA 1993-96
Wuerffel won the Heisman Trophy and the national title in 1996 and finished his career as the SEC leader in touchdown passes and passer rating. He twice threw six TDs in a game.

RB
HERSCHEL WALKER , GEORGIA 1980-82
The conference's alltime leading rusher by more than 700 yards despite playing just three seasons, Walker won the '82 Heisman and averaged 159.4 yards per game over his career.

BO JACKSON , AUBURN 1982-85
The three-sport star earned the '85 Heisman by averaging 162.4 yards. He would have threatened Walker's career rushing mark if not for an injury-shortened junior season.

JOSH REED , LSU 1999-2001
Reed won the '01 Biletnikoff Award as the nation's top receiver when he set the SEC record of 1,740 yards. He finished 92 yards shy of the career mark, held by Georgia 's Terrence Edwards, in three seasons.

IKE HILLIARD , FLORIDA 1994-96
Hilliard caught 15 touchdown passes in '95 and was an All-America during Florida 's '96 national championship season before being picked No. 7 in the NFL draft in '97.

OZZIE NEWSOME , ALABAMA 1974-77
Alabama 's player of the decade for the '70s, Newsome is the Tide's alltime leading receiver and was a '77 All-America in a career that brought three SEC titles to Tuscaloosa .

JOHN HANNAH , ALABAMA 1970-72
A member of the College Football Hall of Fame , Hannah was a two-time All-America and was voted in '89 to ESPN 's alltime college team. He also lettered in track and wrestling.

CHRIS SAMUELS , ALABAMA 1996-99
A dominating tackle, Samuels won the Outland Trophy in '99 as the nation's top interior lineman and was a two-time All-SEC player. He did not give up a sack during his senior year.

BOB GAIN, KENTUCKY 1947-50
A two-way starter and Outland Trophy winner, Gain was a two-time All-America and his team's kicker in '50, when it won the SEC title. He is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame .
