Woods has gone from an extra-large shirt to a medium, says Rebecca Kaufman of Nike, reflecting (or launching) an industrywide trend toward a body-fitting look. "The fact is," says Kaufman, "the less material you have on you, the less you will feel encumbered." Nearly all younger players have moved toward leaner silhouettes with technical performance features built into the clothes.
