NCAA Frozen Four
It's d�j� vu all over again for Boston College and North Dakota , who will meet in the semifinals for the third straight year. ( Michigan plays Notre Dame in the other semi.) BC is led by Hobey Baker finalist Nathan Gerbe (left), a 5'5", 165-pound junior forward who was big trouble for the Fighting Sioux in those Frozen Four meetings: He scored three goals in BC's two wins. The Eagles also have a losing streak they'd like to end. They went down in the championship game in 2006 and '07.

Nuggets at Warriors
When these teams last met, on March 29, Denver pulled into eighth place in the Western Conference with a 119--112 win. Now Golden State can return the favor. The Warriors and Denver are tied in the race for the West's last playoff spot. To catch the Nuggets , they'll have to stifle forward Kenyon Martin , who dropped a season-high 30 points on them in that March loss.

SATURDAY 4/12
Rockies at Diamondbacks
Last October, Matt Holliday (below) helped Colorado sweep Arizona in the NLCS by going 5 for 15 with two home runs. The stakes have been lower, but the D-backs have gotten payback this year. Holliday is off to a slow start—he had four hits in his first 22 at bats—and Arizona swept three from its NL West rivals last weekend.

Nike Hoop Summit
When the U.S. Junior Select Team last lost to the World team in this annual all-star game, in 1998, the international squad was led by an unknown German 7-footer named Dirk Nowitzki . This year's U.S. team (guard Jrue Holiday and forward Greg Monroe are among the biggest names) will face another talented European big man. France 's Alexis Ajinca, 19, a 7'1" center, is projected to be an NBA first-round pick in 2009.

As he did with SI senior writer S.L. Price (SI, Dec. 31, 2007), Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama (right) discusses his love of basketball—and shows off some of his court skills. No doubt his brother-in-law, Brown hoops coach Craig Robinson , will be impressed.

The Masters
It was hard to tell what made Australia 's Geoff Ogilvy happier at the CA Championship last month: that he won or that Tiger Woods (above) lost. "The chitchat about 'Is he going to win every golf tournament this year.' That's frustrating," Ogilvy said. You better stop reading here, Geoff. Woods will be the favorite at Augusta , where he has worn the green jacket four times. A win will put him on the road to golf's first modern Grand Slam, a feat he called "easily within reason."
