NASCAR Surprises & DisappointmentsSurprise | Travis Kvapil
 Travis Kvapil spent 2007 out of Cup racing, running in the Craftsman Truck Series, while Yates Racing didn't have a sponsor for either of its cars until earlier this month. Kvapil's No. 28 Ford still doesn't have corporate backing, but he's 19th in the standings and trying to hunt down a spot in the Chase playoff format.
